Dr. Joseph Tate

Dr. Tate is an inspirational physician who believes in a woman’s ability to birth. After becoming an engineer he felt a calling to take on another career so he went back to school at Yale University Medical School followed by Emory University Medical School and became a Doctor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Tate has delivered thousands of babies over the last 30 years. He currently runs his own practice, as well as working at Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Emory helping to teach the next generation of obstetrician/gynecologists. When Dr. Tate isn’t working he spends his time with his wife and those of his six children and thirteen grandchildren who reside in Atlanta. Dr. Tate is a member of the American Medical Association, Medical Association of Georgia, and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
